Description:  Obverse: Head of Nero, wearing laurel wreath and bearded, facing l. Reverse: Ceres, on r., veiled and draped, seated facing l., holding corn-ears and torch, facing Annona, draped, standing facing r., r. hand resting on hip, l. holding cornucopiae; in center, modius on garlanded altar r.; behind, ship's stern.

Inscriptions:  Obverse: NERO CLAVD CAESAR.AVG.GER P M TR F IMP P P (Nero Claudius, Caesar Augustus Germanicus, Head of the College of Priests, Tribune, Imperator, Father of the Fatherland). Reverse: ANNONΛ ΛVGVSTI CERES (Annona and Ceres of Augustus). In Exergue: S C (Translation disputed).
