Letter to Galsworthy from the ‘English Circle’ in Vienna to John Galsworthy’. Signed by 63 member of this ‘society’.
Letter reads: ‘The undersigned express their great pleasure at the honour which you have conferred upon their English Circle by consenting that it should bear your name.
They consider this event a good omen for the future prosperity of their circle whose programme it is to make its members acquainted with the language, literature and institutions of your country and to establish closer bonds of friendship between English people and Austrians by writing them in one society. Vienna, January 1930.’
