Printed letter to the Secretary of the Linnean Society, asking for help with identifying the collector of a collection of plants which are mounted, boxed and many of the specimens are badly eaten, in addition to some quite good and rare ones. They believe it is an amateur collector and not a local one, possibly from Tenby. They believe it came to them during Professor Hillhouse's time. The letter is handwritten, 'Yours faithfully' but there is no signature.
