This machine-printed pattern has been based on a pebble-like background in brown on white, to imitate the effects of batik. There are ornate motifs throughout the fabric based on flowers and leaves, and on peacocks in orange, yellow, green, tan and brown. There is heavy gold rayon machine embroidery around the collar and as edging to the pockets and cuffs. It was presented to the Danford Collection by Sister Evelyn Bellamy in 1969.
