Description:  Obverse: Head of Numerian, wearing radiate crown and short beard, cuirassed, facing r. Reverse: Mars, naked but cloaked and helmeted, walking facing r., holding spear in r. and trophy in l. over shoulder; C in field, to r.

Inscriptions:  Obverse: IMP C NVMERIANVS AVG (Imperator Caesar Numerian Augustus). Reverse: MARS VICT-OR (Mars, the Victor).

Notes:  In accordance with RIC, the C in the field of the reverse is a mintmark (officina) indicating Lugdunum.
