Description:  Obverse: Head of Probus, wearing radiate crown and beard, wearing cuirass and imperial mantle, facing l. Reverse: Concordia, draped, standing facing l., holding patera in r. and double cornucopiae in l.; P in field, to r.

Inscriptions:  Obverse: IMP PROBVS P F HVC (Imperator Probus Pius Felix Augustus). Reverse: CONCORDIH HVC (Harmony of the Emperor). In Exergue: XXI

Bibliography:  RIC V 661 var.

Notes:  Traces of silvering. In accordance with RIC, the XXI in the exergue of the reverse and the P in the field of the reverse are mintmarks (officina) indicating Siscia. As opposed to the RIC type, Probus does not hold an sceptre surmounted by an eagle on this coin.
