Description:  Obverse: Head of Probus, wearing radiate crown and beard, draped and cuirassed, facing r. Reverse: Female, draped, standing facing r., presenting laurel wreath in r. to emperor, in military attire, standing facing l., holding globe in r. and sceptre in l.; Γ in field, to bottom in between figures.

Inscriptions:  Obverse: IMP C M AVR PROBVS P F AVG (Imperator Caesar Marcus Aurelius Probus Pius Felix Augustus). Reverse: RESTITVT OR-BIS (The Restorer of the World). In Exergue: XXI

Bibliography:  RIC V 925

Notes:  Silvered. In accordance with RIC, the XXI in the exergue of the reverse and the Γ in the field of the reverse are mintmarks (officina) indicating Antioch. The globe held by the emperor on the reverse is not there as the coin face is damaged.
