Description:  Obverse: Head of Aurelian, wearing radiate crown and beard, cuirassed, facing r. Reverse: Sol, radiate and naked, walking facing r., holding laurel-branch in r. and bow in l., treading down an enemy; Γ in field, to l.

Inscriptions:  Obverse: INP AVRELIANVS HVG (Imperator Aurelian Augustus). Reverse: OHI-ENS HVC (The Rising Sun of the Emperor). In Exergue: XXIR.

Bibliography:  RIC V 64

Notes:  In accordance with RIC, the XXIR in the exergue of the reverse and the Γ in the field are mintmarks indicating Rome.
