This piece has been made from four cloth strips, each 41 to 43 cm wide, and woven on a single-heddle woman's loom. There is a white locally-spun cotton warp with thin black warp stripes. The weft has been balanced in locally spun white yarn with supplementary weft-float patterns of triangles, diamonds, rectangles and lizard motifs in indigo. The ends have been knotted into a fringe. It was lent by John Danford in 1964 and purchased in 1975.
