Printed letter from Herbarium Assistant (likely Miss Carman) to J. Ritchie Esq., Curator at the Natural History Museum in Perth. Says that Mr. C.G.C. Chesters of this Department suggests that J. Ritchie may be able to help with their collection of plants in Birmingham(?)'s Herbarium believed to have been made by Col. Drummond Hay. They have his Herbarium at Perth, and so asks if there is an correspondence at Perth to say that Hay gave a small collection to the Univeristy of Birmingham, or possibly correspondence to Professor Hillhouse or Professor West.
