Toy monkey, chamois leather hands and feet, black cotton trousers, crochet jumper, tartan woollen coat, crochet hat with tassle. Probably made in 1920s, and since repaired, particularly on face. Belonged to donor's father, Frances Ottolenghi, born 1919 in Italy, came to England 1939. Metal 'tail' can be moved to swivel the head. |
