Description:  The die is an icosahedron composed of 20 equilateral triangular faces, each inscribed with a Greek letter which has been carved into the surface. Traces of white paint are visible in some of the Greek letters.

Inscriptions / Translations:  Letters of the Greek alphabet inscribed on each face of the die.

Notes:  Icosahedra are polyhedra with 12 vertices, 20 equilateral triangular faces and 30 edges. In geometry, it was one of the five convex Platonic solids (tetrahedron, hexahedron, octahedron, dodecahedron and icosahedron). Examples like ECM 552 were used in games.
