Description:  Obverse: Head of Constantine, wearing laureate helmet, cuirassed, holding spear in r. over r. shoulder and shield in l., facing l. Reverse: Sol, naked but radiate and cloaked, standing facing l., raising r. hand and holding globe in l.; * in field, to l.

Inscriptions:  Obverse: CONSTΛNTINVS HV-C (Constantine Augustus). Reverse: SOLI INVI-C-TO COMITI (To the Invincible Sol, Minister [of the Emperor]). In Exergue: PLN

Bibliography:  RIC VI 240 var.

Notes:  According to RIC, the PLN in the exergue of the reverse and * in the field of the reverse are mintmarks (officina) indicating Londinium. As opposed to the type in RIC, the mintmark on the reverse is l. rather than r.
