Description:  Obverse: Bust of Trajan, laureate, r., draped. Reverse: S - C, left and right. Trajan standing to front with head turned r., holding spear and parazonium; on ground reclining figures of Armenia (female), Euphrates and Tigris.

Inscriptions:  Obverse: IMP CAES NERV TRAIANO OPTIMO AVG GER DAC PARTHICO P M TR P COS VI P P (Emperor Caesar Nerva Trajan the best Augustus Germanicus Dacius Parthico, head of the principal college of priests, Tribune of the people, Consul for the sixth time, father of the fatherland). Reverse: ARMENIA ET MESOPOTAMIA IN PO...TATEM P R REDACTAE (Armenia and Mesopotamia whose power has been driven back for the Roman people).

Notes:  This obverse type legend does not exist - combination of NERV and PARTHICO has no parallels. The closest legend is J3 IMP CAES NER TRAIANO OPTIMO AVG GER DAC PARTHICO P M TR P COS VI P P but this legend does not occur with NERV or the ARMENIA ET MESOPOTAMIA reverse type.
