Description:  Obverse: Christ nimbate seated on throne without back, with book in l. hand, r. hand raised in benediction. Reverse: Alexios standing full length, wearing diadem with prependoulia and bejewelled loros, holding in l. hand globus cruciger and r. hand sceptre.

Inscriptions:  Obverse: +K ENO HOЄI (Lord help) IC XC (Jesus Christ). Reverse: Δ/ΛЄ/ΣIω ΔCC/ΠO/TM Tω KO/MM/Nω (Despot Alexios of the Komnenoi).
