The Gibraltar Hoard was found 'in the late 1930s' in Serrania, Spain, just north of Gibraltar. It was contained in one earthenware jug, which was smashed during excavations. It was made up exclusively of antoniniani, and the terminus post quem (the time after which the hoard must have been buried) is 266. The presence of a large number of antoniniani in the names of Quietus and Macrianus, two usurpers against Gallienus in the East, in this very western hoard is curious. Gallwey explains this as probably moving with soldiers who had once served the usurpers.
