Brief biography:  A hoard of over 50 solidi of the years 538-628 found near Athens in July 1956.

A hoard of over 50 solidi found near Athens in July 1956. The majority of the coins were of Phocas (602-610), but the hoard chronologically spanned from 538-628. Acquired by Philip Whitting through A. H. Baldwin.
