Name:  Gosdantin I
Brief biography:  King of Cilician Armenia 1298-1299.
Nationality:  Armenian
Occupation:  King
Period of rule:  1298-1299

Gosdantin was a son of Levon II and brother of Het'oum II. He helped his brother Smbat take the throne from their other brother, Het'oum II, after Smbat was left in charge of the kingdom of Cilicia by Het'oum, while the latter went to Constantinople. Gosdantin later turned on Smbat and so Het'oum reassumed the throne. Because Het'oum had been blinded by Smbat, Gosdantin acted as regent for Het'oum for a year between 1298-1299. After Het'oum fully resumed power himself, Gosdantin was again implicated in a pro-Smbat plot and imprisoned but not killed, the circumstances of his death are unknown.
