Name:  Egyptian Hoard
Brief biography:  A hoard of 6th and 7th century solidi 'from Egypt'.

This group of gold coins were said to have come together 'from Egypt' to Spink in 1963, where Whitting purchased them on the 9th July. Reconstructed trough Whitting's notes as a group of gold solidi ranging from Tiberius II to Phocas - it is not clear whether they constitute a hoard, or just a lot of several similar coins acquired at the same time in Egypt.
