Hormazd V was a grandson of Khusrau II, and a rule during the turmoil following Khusrau's execution. He was married to Azarmidokht, Khusrau's daughter (and therefore Hormazd's aunt), but Azarmidokht had Hormazd murdered. He had ruled for only a few months. |
