Description:  Obverse: bust of Christ nimbate facing, holding gospel in l. hand, single pellet in each limb of cross. Reverse: busts of Basil I. and Constantine r. wearing modified loros and chlamys, respectively, and cross crowns, holding plain patriarchal cross between them.

Inscriptions:  Obverse: + InSXIS nЄX nCSNΛNΓIΛm (Jesus Christ King of Kings). Reverse: + bASIL C COnSTAhTIh bR (Basil and Constantine, emperor, king).
