Description:  Obverse: bust of Christ nimbate facing, holding gospel in l. hand, two pellets in each limb, limbs with serifs. Reverse: busts of Basil I. and Constantine r. wearing modified loros and ornamented robe (different from B4974), respectively, and cross crowns with pendilia, holding plain patriarchal cross with a five pellet X on the shaft between them.

Inscriptions:  Obverse: + InS nIS nЄX RЄSNANTIhm (Jesus Christ King of Kings) Reverse + bΛSIL C COnSτΛnTI b R (Basil and Constantine, emperor, king).
