Description:  Obverse: Bust of Justinian facing, wearing cross crown. Reverse: K with cross above.

Inscriptions:  Obverse: SLIS. Reverse: …S.

Bibliography:  None.

Notes:  Overstruck on follis of Constans II type MIB III, 177. This coin, found in the Barber’s addenda section, and apparently not viewed by Hahn, is an unpublished type, but is iconographically most similar to the Justinian II Sardinian base metal coins, on which grounds I have tentatively attributed this coin to that mint. The SLIS may indicate Syracuse, however.
