Description:  Obverse: Bust of Theodosius facing 3/4 r. wearing cuirass, paludamentum and plumed diademed helmet, holding spear transversely behind head in r. hand and shield depicting a cavalryman on l. shoulder. Reverse: Emperor standing facingwearing helmet and military array holding military standard with an X in r. hand and globus cruciger in l., star in l. of field.

Inscriptions:  Obverse: DN THEOOO SIVS PFΛVC (Our Lord Theodosius blessed eternal Augustus). Reverse: CLOHORVI S TERRHA (Glory of the world). Mint mark: TESOB.
