Description:  Obverse: Bust of Theodosius facing 3/4 r. wearing cuirass, paludamentum and plumed helmet, holding spear transversely behind head in r. hand and shield depicting a cavalryman on l. shoulder. Reverse: Constantinopolis seated facing r. holding pole in r. hand and Victoria on a globe, crowning Constantinopolis with a wreath, in l. hand, star in l. of field.

Inscriptions:  Obverse: DN THEODO SIVS PFAVC (Our Lord Theodosius blessed eternal Augustus). Reverse: CONCORDI A AVCC (Imperial harmony). Control mark: A (1). Mint mark: CONOB.
