Silver cigarette case presented to John Sutton Nettlefold by Arthur Chamberlain, 1st November 1906. Arthur Chamberlain was John Nettlefold's father-in-law. Commissioned to congratulate John on his victory on 1st November 1906 as an Independent candidate for Edgbaston Ward, in which he opposed the Unionist Party of Arthur Chamberlain's brother Joseph Chamberlain. Presented to University Research and Cultural Collections by Dr. Philip Crosskey, 8th November 2007, and later transferred to Winterbourne. Hallmarked London, 1905. Maker's mark W.C - William Comyns & Sons, Beak Street, London.
