Description:  Obverse: Bust of Justin facing r. wearing diadem, curiass and paludamentum. Reverse: Cross above and star in l. field and in r. field.

Inscriptions:  Obverse: DN IVSTNIVS PP AVCS (Our lord Justin, emperor in perpetuity). Reverse: M (40). Mint mark: ANTIX.

Notes:  This reverse type is only recorded for joint reign of Justin and Justinian, not Justin alone. Possible mule?
