Description:  Obverse: Bust of Justin facing, wearing cuirass, and plumed helmet with trefoil ornament and pendilia, and shield on l. arm. Reverse: K with cross above.

Inscriptions:  Obverse: … NVS PP AVC (Our lord Justin, eternal Augustus). Reverse: …N… III (Year 3). Mint mark: TCS. Obverse Inscription of undertype: D (retrograde)INVSTINΛ.

Notes:  Overstruck on an eight or sixteen nummi piece of Justinian I, obverse on reverse; the inscription from the obverse of the undertype is visible on the reverse of the coin, and the A from the reverse of the undertype is visible on the obverse of the coin.
