Description:  Obverse: Head of Probus, wearing radiate crown and beard, cuirassed, facing r. Reverse: Minerva, draped and helmeted, standing facing l., holding olive-branch in r. and spear in l., l. hand on shield; A in field to l.

Inscriptions:  Obverse: IMP C PROBVS.P.F.HVC (Imperator Caesar Probus Pius Felix Augustus). Reverse: COME-S HVG (Companion of the Emperor).

Notes:  Traces of silvering. In accordance with RIC, the A in the field of the reverse is a mintmark (officina) indicating Lugdunum.
