Description:  Obverse: Head of Probus, wearing radiate crown and beard, cuirassed, facing r. Reverse: Pax, draped, standing facing l., holding olive-branch in r. and sceptre in l.; D in field, to r.

Inscriptions:  Obverse: IMP C PROBVS.P.F.AVG (Imperator Caesar Probus Pius Felix Augustus). Reverse: P-AX AVG (Peace of the Emperor).

Bibliography:  RIC V 119 var.

Notes:  In accordance with RIC, the D in the field of the reverse is a mintmark (officina) indicating Lugdunum, though as opposed to the type in RIC, the mintmark is in the field to the right rather than the left.
