Description:  Obverse: Head of Probus, wearing radiate crown and beard, cuirassed and wearing imperial mantle, holding sceptre surmounted by eagle, facing l. Reverse: Roma, draped and helmeted, head facing l., seated in temple, holding Victory in r. and sceptre in l.

Inscriptions:  Obverse: IMP PROB-VS P F AVC (Imperator Probus Pius Felix Augustus). Reverse: ROMHE AETER (To Everlasting Rome). In Exergue: R[symbol]∆

Notes:  In accordance with RIC, the R[symbol]∆ in the exergue of the reverse are mintmarks indicating Rome. The symbol is either an elongated star or a thunderbolt.
