Description:  Obverse: Head of Carausius, wearing radiate crown and extended sideburns, draped and cuirassed, facing r. Reverse: Pax, draped, standing facing l., holding olive-branch in r. and vertical sceptre in l.; F and O in field, to l. and r. respectively.

Inscriptions:  Obverse: IMP CHRHVSIVS P F HVC (Imperator Carausius Pius Felix Augustus). Reverse: Γ-H-X HV-ᴗ (Imperial Peace). In Exergue: MI

Notes:  According to RIC, the M[L] in the exergue of the reverse and the F and O in the field of the reverse are mintmarks (officina) indicating Londinium.
