Description:  Obverse: Head of Maximian, wearing laurel wreath and beard, cuirassed, facing l. Reverse: Genius, naked but cloaked, covering l. arm and loins, and wearing modius, standing facing l., holding patera in r. over altar to l. and cornucopia in l.; N in field, to r.

Inscriptions:  Obverse: D N MHXIMIHNO P F S HVC (Our Lord Maximian Pius Felix, Senior Augustus). Reverse: CFNIO POP ROM (The Genius of the Roman People). In Exergue: PLC

Bibliography:  RIC VI 230

Notes:  According to RIC, the PLC in the exergue on the reverse and the N in the field on the reverse are mintmarks (officina) indicating Lugdunum.
