Description: Obverse: Bust of Christ (Type V/VIII) facing, with long beard and nimbus cross having :·: in each arm, wearing tunic and himation, right hand raised in blessing, l. hand clasps book with ornate cover (·), triple pellet border. Reverse: Bust of the emperor, facing, bearded, wearing collar piece modified loros and crown with cross and pendilia. In r. hand labarum, in l. hand globus cruciger; manus dei above crown; triple pellet border.
