Description:  Obverse: Bust of Valens, facing r. draped, cuirassed, diademed. Reverse: Valentinian and Valens, draped, enthroned holding both a single globe with r. hand, and the l. one a mappa with l. hand, behind them a Victory.

Inscriptions:  Obverse: D N VHLEN S P F HVC (our lord Valens pious fortunate Augustus). Reverse: VICTOR IH HVCC (Victory of the Augusti). Mint mark: SMTES (mint of Thessalonica).
