Description:  Obverse: Bust of Valentinian, facing r. draped, cuirassed, diademed. Reverse: Emperor, cuirassed, with standard in r. hand and orb in l. hand stepping on captive.

Inscriptions:  Obverse: D N VALENTINIANVS P P AVC (our lord Valentinian pious fortunate Augustus). Reverse: VIAT…S E EACITI (virtue of the army). Mint mark: ALE Δ (Alexandria 4).
