Description:  Obverse: Bust of Theodosius, facing r. draped, cuirassed, diademed. Reverse: Victory, seated, inscribing on shield, in l. field a star, in r. field a Christogram.

Inscriptions:  Obverse: D N THEODO SIVS P F AVC (our lord Theodosius pious fortunate Augustus). Reverse: XX / XXX (prayers for 20 years of rule, more for the 30th anniversary). Peripheral: VICTORIH HVCC (Victory of the Augusti). Mint mark: CONO B (Constantinopolis 2).
