Inscriptions:  Obverse: D N VALENS P F AVG (our lord Valens pious fortunate Augustus). Reverse: VOT / X / MVLT / XX (prayers for 10 years of rule, more for the 20th anniversary). Mint mark: SMN (mint of Nicomedia).
