Description:  Obverse: Bust of Theodosius, facing 3/4 r. cuirassed, diademed, helmeted, with spear in r. hand and shield in l. hand. Reverse: Constantinopolis, enthroned, with cross on orb in r. hand and sceptre in l. hand, a shield besides throne.

Inscriptions:  Obverse: D N THEODO SIVS P F AVC (our lord Theodosius pious fortunate Augustus). Reverse: VOT XXX MVLT XXXX Γ (prayers for 30 years of rule, more for the 40th anniversary). Mint mark: CONO B (Constantinopolis 2).
