Description: Obverse: Bust of Theodosius, facing 3/4 r. cuirassed, diademed, helmeted, with spear in r. hand and shield in l. hand. Reverse: two Emperors, draped, nimbate, enthroned, each holding a mappa with r. hand and cruciform sceptre with l. hand, a star above them.
Inscriptions: Obverse: D N THEODO SIVS P F ΛVC (our lord Theodosius pious fortunate Augustus). Reverse: SALVS AEI PVBLICAE B (health of the Republic). Mint mark: CONO B (Constantinopolis 2).
