Description:  Obverse: Bust of Leo II or Zeno, helmeted, pearl-diademed, cuirassed, facing 3/4 r., holding spear in r. hand behind head and shield decorated with horseman on l. arm. Reverse: Leo II and Zeno, nimbate, draped, enthroned, facing, each holding mappa in r. hand; star above; cross behind.

Inscriptions:  Obverse: D N LEO Eτ (retrograde Z) ENO PP AVC (Our lords Leo and Zeno, eternal Augusti). Reverse: SALVS REI PYBLICAE (salvation of the republic). Mint mark: CONOB.
