Newspaper article concerning 'The Management of Sutton Park' following the meeting of the Sutton Coldfield Town Council the previous day. The Mayor dealt at some length with the memorial presented to the Council at the last meeting. He denied that the comittee were ruthlessly cutting down trees in the park and that they had done their best to protect the birds and tried to disprove the legitimacy of the memorial as many signatures were obtained at public-houses.
