A stamp set on a cube block. The stamp reads 'UNIVERSITY HOUSE BIRMINGHAM' (written backwards for the purpose of stamping). The text is at the top of the stamp. Under the stamp is a picture of flowers in a basket. The stamp has a linear border.

Notes:  This is a bookplate or Ex Libris for University House. University House was the first purpose-built hall of residence for women in Britain maintained its progressivity by subsequently becoming the first mixed sex Hall of Residence in 1964.
