Holmes' collection of "fasiculi"? by the Botanical Department of the University and the details of the collection, including it containing "three or four species which have been found but once, and stand, therefore, as the only known examples of their kind" and that "The British collection is believed to be the most perfect in existence, and contains not a few species which can never be replaced".
