Description:  Obverse: Head of Maximinus Thrax, wearing laurel wreath and short-beard, draped and cuirassed, facing r. Reverse: Salus, draped, seated facing l., feeding out of patera in r. snake coiled round altar.

Inscriptions:  Obverse: IMP MAXIMINvS PIVS AVG (Imperator Maximinus Pius Augustus). Reverse: SALVS AVGVSTI (To the Health of the Emperors). In Exergue: S C (Translation Disputed).
