Description:  Obverse: Tiberius facing, wearing cross crown with pendilia, chlamys, with loros scarf draped over shoulders, holding mappa aloft in r.hand, and eagle-topped sceptre with cross atop eagle in l.hand. Reverse: Arched M, cross above.

Inscriptions:  Obverse: … N TIS CONS TANT PP VJ (Our lord Tiberius Constantine, eternal [inferred, Augustus]). Reverse: ANNO Ч (Year 5). Mint mark: τHЄЧPS.

Bibliography:  DOC I AE 41 (var); MIB II pl.15 47a1 (same type as the coin in pl.15, not the type in the catalogue)

Notes:  Obverse of type DOC I AE 41, but reverse of a different type, there is no equivalent in MIB.
