Description:  Obverse: Bust of Hormazd II, bearded, with diadem falcon-headed crown, with pellet in beak, above this a korymbos, with diadem bands, hair in bunch over l. shoulder, single pellet band at neckline, single pellet border. Reverse: Fire altar flanked with two standing attendants, two steps at bottom, two steps at top, with altar slab; fire atop altar, headless bust of figure within the flames; attendants, crowned, hold swords/barsom; single pellet border.

Inscriptions:  Obverse: MZDYSN BGI AHRMAZDY MLKA MLKAN AYRAN (MAZDAYASNA BAGI AHURAMAZDY MALKAN MALKA AYRAN/Mazda-worshipping divine Hormazd, King of Kings of Iran) Reverse: NURA AHURAMAZD (Fire of Hormazd)
