Description:  Obverse: Head of Maximinus, wearing radiate crown and beard, draped and cuirassed, facing r. Reverse: Prince, in military attire, standing facing r., receiving Victory on globe in r. from Jupiter, naked but cloaked, standing facing l., leaning on sceptre with l.; Δ in field, in between figures.

Inscriptions:  Obverse: CHL VΛL HHXIHINVS NOB CHES (Galerius Valerius Maximinus, Noble Caesar). Reverse: CONCORDIΛ MI-LITVM (The Harmony of the Soldiers). In Exergue: ΛLE

Bibliography:  RIC VI 60B var.

Notes:  According to RIC, the [A]LE in the exergue of the reverse and Δ in the field of the reverse are mintmarks (officina) indicating Alexandria. As opposed to the RIC type, the obverse of this coin has a radiate bust, rather than laureate.
