Description: Obverse: Bust of Phocas facing, bearded, wearing cross topped crown with pendilia, chlamys, with loros scarf draped over shoulders, holding mappa aloft in r. hand, and eagle-topped sceptre in l. hand. Reverse: Arched M; cross above.
Inscriptions: Obverse: D [in retrograde] N FOCA NЄPЄ AV (Our lord Phocas, eternal Augustus). Reverse: ANNO ϚIII (Year 9). Mint mark: τHЄЧP'.
