Description: Obverse: Christ seated on wide lyre-backed throne (Type 1d) facing, bearded, wearing tunic and himation, holding book with ornamental cover (:·:); triple pellet border. Reverse: Bust of emperor facing, wearing loros of traditional pattern and crown with cross and pendilia, in r. hand beaded sceptre surmounted by leaved cross, in l. hand globus cruciger with patriarchal cross; triple pellet border.
